Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)

The Disciples of Christ is also referred to as The Christian Church or simply, The Disciples. Its logo features a red chalice with the Cross of Saint Andrew.

It is a relatively liberal Christian denomination with a membership of approximately 834,000 in the United States and Canada in almost in about 3,700 congregations. Apart from the US and Canada, the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) has partner churches worldwide.

An Overview On The United Methodist Church

The United Methodist Church, as the name suggests, is a Methodist Christian denomination. It is both mainline Protestant and Evangelical.

The Church claims that it has over 40,000 churches across the United States, Africa, Europe, Asia, and approximately 11 million members worldwide.

It was founded in 1968 by the union of the Evangelical United Brethren Church and The Methodist Church at the constituting General Conference in Dallas, Texas.

There are numerous Christian denominations, of which Roman Catholicism is the largest individual denomination.
